Pizza is a flavorful dish which is first time made in Italy. It is consisted of round; firmed base of leavened white-base dough bettered with vegetables and spices of your own choice, sometimes it also contains olives, meat, chicken, Pepperonis, anchovies and much more. The best part of the pizza is its a layer of cheese, you can use different types of cheese for a more savory taste. It is baked usually at a high temperature in customarily wood-fired ovens but in proper surroundings such as restaurants, it is eaten with a knife and fork. Small pizzas are called Pizzettas.
Preparation of Killer Gluten free pizza
In pizza, the most important part is it’s dough if the dough is perfectly firm the pizza bread will be baked soft. The pizza crust makes from its bread may be of different types such as people mostly like Thin crust pizza, cheese stuffed crust, etc.
For making the dough of Killer Gluten Free Pizza you need
- 8 ¼ ounce Gluten-Free Multi-Purpose Flour
(6 ¾ brown rice flour blend)
- 2 cups Potato starch (optional if you are making this at home)
- ¾ ounce buttermilk powder
(non-fat dry milk powder)
- ¾ teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon of Instant Yeast
- 8-ounces warm water
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional)
- 7/8 ounce olive oil (for dough)
- 7/8 ounce olive oil (for pan)
- 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
For pizza topping
(Of your own choice)
- Boil shedder chicken (mix with salt and pepper)
- Baby corns
- Spicy pizza sauce
- Mozzarella, Cheddar or any other cheese of your own choice
Place all the dry ingredients (yeast, sugar, and honey as well, if you are using it) into a large mixing bowl and mix until thoroughly blended. Your mix bowl is perfect for mixing.
In another bowl take yeast, (sugar or honey if you are using it), warm water and stir them to combine, and this procedure some lumps may be made but this is ok. Set this mixture aside for 30 minutes until it smells like yeasty.
Add this yeast mixture into dry ingredients and beat them on medium-high speed for next 4 minutes. The mixture will be thick and sticky.
Rest the dough for good next 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Farnhieght.
Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil and spread this oil to all the surface of your pizza pan.
Use your wet fingers to make round pizza dough, start at the center of the dough and work outwards. Don’t cover the dough and make it rest for 30 minutes.
Bake the crust for next 8 to10 minutes, after baking the surface of the dough will look opaque rather than shiny.
After the baking of dough remove it from the oven and top it with the ingredients which you are using. After topping the pizza return to the oven to finish baking, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve it warm.
