2. Prevent soggy sandwiches in lunch boxes or sack lunches by spread any condiment between the meat, cheese, or lettuce instead of directly on the bread.

3. Before you sift flour on wax paper, make a crease down the middle, this creates a handy pouring spout.

4. If you only need a couple of pieces of cake cut from the middle, it will stay fresher longer.

5. Prevent the skin from forming on pudding or custard by placing plastic wrap on the surface before letting it sets up.

1.Scatter fresh herbs soaked in water and drained on charcoals. This will infuse the flavors of the herbs into food on the grill.

2.Save time with your grilling by putting charcoal into a paper bag, and light the bag.

3.Place hamburger or hot dog with buns into a Ziploc bag after removing from grill. Leave in the bag a few minutes and it will steam in the bag.

4.Boil pork chops, or chicken prior to Barbecuing to tenderize meat. After boiling, drain water and marinate meat in barbecue sauce for 20 minutes, grill as desired.

5. Have a spray bottle of water next to your grill in case of flare ups on the grill.

6.Line bottom of grill with aluminum foil and remove the charcoal with foil for easy clean up.

1. Grapefruits with thinner skin have more flavor and juice. Thicker grapefruit have a pointed stems and wrinkled skin.

2. Lemons with smoother skin and smaller points have more juice and flavor

3. When trying to find sweet oranges chose the ones with larger wholes around the navel.

4. If you put peaches in a paper bag or a box covered with newspaper they will ripen sooner.

5. Place strawberries in a colander in refrigerator to keep them fresh, this allows the cold air to circulate.

6. Hulling strawberries prior to washing causes them to be mushy from absorbing water.
