<p>Sometimes, even Ms Recipe has a hard time creating side dishes. Kidney bean salad is one of those side dishes that is not only inexpensive, but can be used as a entree for vegetarians. I like to make this side dish with a yummy tuna salad sandwich.<br />
Preparation time: 5-10 minutes<br />
Cooking time: None</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Ingredients:</strong></span><br />
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained<br />
<span id="more-631"></span>2 large hard-boiled eggs, chopped<br />
½ large yellow onion, diced<br />
10 pickles or 2 tablespoons pickle relish (dill or sweet), chopped<br />
½ teaspoon garlic powder<br />
¼ teaspoon black pepper<br />
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes<br />
½ teaspoon seasoned salt<br />
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or miracle whip<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Directions:</strong></span><br />
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.<br />
Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.<br />

watering slow cooker meal.</p>
<p><span id="more-21327"></span>Preparation time: 20 minutes<br />
Cooking time: 6-8 hours on low in slow cooker<br />
Servings: 6-8<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Ingredients :</strong></span></span><br />
1 (4 pound) chuck roast<br />
1 cup beef broth<br />
1 cup water<br />
2 packs Italian salad seasoning<br />
3 whole peppercorns<br />
1 small bay leaf<br />
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce<br />
½ teaspoon onion powder</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><span style="color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;">Directions:</span></strong></span><br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;">1.</span> Trim excess fat off chuck roast, if needed.<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;">2.</span> Place chuck roast into large slow cooker with all ingredients<br />
except 1 package of Italian seasoning mix. Cover and cook for 5-<br />
6 hours on low or until fork tender (do not cook on high).<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;">3</span>. Place chuck roast on a platter and shred with two forks. Strain<br />
broth into large bowl and skim fat off beef broth. Discard bay<br />
leaf.<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;">4.</span> Return broth and chuck roast to slow cooker. Pour in<br />
remaining Italian seasoning mix. Cook with lid for 1 hour on low,<br />
stir well.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">Tips:</span></strong><br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">#1</span></strong> Serve with Cole slaw, potatoes salad, and chips.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">#2</span></strong> Serve on French rolls or thick bread.</p>

½ bag mini marshmallows<br />
1(20 ounces) can crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice<br />
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature<br />
Maraschino cherries, drain (optional)</p>

1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, and marshmallows.<br />
2. Then mix in pineapple and half a can of pineapple juice to<br />
mixture.<br />
3. Top with cherries.<br />

¾ cup water<br />
1 (3-5 pound) ham<br />
1(14 ounce) pineapple rings (adjust quantity of pineapple rings to<br />
size of ham)<br />
10 whole cloves<br />
1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Directions:</span></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">1.</span></strong> Pour water into slow cooker. Cut crisscross lines across the top<br />
of the ham (For fresh ham remove rind and some of the fat prior<br />
to cutting.).<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">2.</span></strong> Stick cloves into ham and hang pineapple rings on cloves.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">3.</span></strong> Place ham on aluminum foil, sprinkle with liquid smoke and<br />
wrap aluminum tightly around ham.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">4.</span></strong> Place ham into slow cooker with some water (if needed).Cook<br />
on high for 1 hour or low for 4-5 hours.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">Tip:</span></strong></p>
<p>Substitute a turkey ham for a canned ham.</p>

*3/4 cup of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder<br />
*1 teaspoon Baking Powder<br />

*1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips</p>

*3/4 cup Peanut Butter<br />
*1/3 cup Butter<br />
*1/3 cup Sugar<br />
*2 teaspoons Flour<br />
*3/4 teaspoons Vanilla<br />
*2 Eggs</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Frosting</span></strong></span><br />
*1/2 cup Chocolate Chips<br />
*3 tablespoons Butter<br />
*2-2/3 cups Powder Sugar<br />
*1/4 teaspoon Salt<br />
*3/4 teaspoon Vanilla<br />
*5 teaspoons Water</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Directions</strong></span></span><br />
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13&#215;9-inch pan.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Chocolate Layer</span></strong></span><br />
1.)  In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup butter; Mix well. Add the 4 eggs, one at a time, stirring well each time.</p>
<p>2.) Stir in 2-1/2 teaspoons of vanilla and then sift in 1-1/2 cups of flour and stir.</p>
<p>3.) Add cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and 1 cup of chocolate chips.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Peanut Butter Layer</strong></span></span></p>
<p>1.) In a small bowl, mix in peanut butter and 1/3 cup of butter. Mix until smooth.</p>
<p>2.) Add 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, 3/4 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 eggs. Stir well until batter is smooth.</p>
<p>3. ) In the greased pan, pour half of the chocolate mixture into pan and smooth  it evenly with a butter knife. Next spread  peanut butter  across the entire  first layer. Lastly,  pour  the remaining chocolate batter on top.</p>
<p>4.) Using a chopstick, pull it through the three layers to create the marbling appearance.</p>
<p>5.) Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool completely.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Icing</strong></span></span></p>
<p>1.) In a medium size double boiler, melt together 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons of butter.</p>

Slide a tray of mozzarella sticks in the oven and chop up whole lotta fresh <a href="http://askmsrecipe.com/category/vegetables/">veggies </a>then you&#8217;ll have a perfect snack to calm the teen beast. Then bake a batch of my <a href="http://askmsrecipe.com/2010/12/3-way-cinnamon-sugar-cookies/">3 way Cinnamon  sugar Cookies </a>for a sweet dessert that you can be adventurous or make my way.</p>

<p>Yield 4 servings<br />
cook 6-8 minutes</p>
<p>2 large eggs<br />
1 tablespoon water<br />
1 cup Italian bread crumbs<br />

1 large pinch black pepper<br />
12 sticks string cheese<br />
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour<br />
1 1/2 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted prior to baking</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">1.</span></strong> In a small bowl, beat eggs with water.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">2</span></strong>. In a large recloseable bag combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, and pepper.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">3.</span></strong> Coat each cheese stick with flour, then dip in egg mixture and bread crumbs mixture.<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>4.</strong></span> place on platter cover and chill 4 hours. Place onto a ungreased baking sheet; drizzle with melted butter.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">5.</span></strong> Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">6</span></strong>. Bake uncovered 6-8 minutes or until heated through. Allow to stand 3 minutes before serving.</p>

<strong></strong>Use salsa, pizza sauce or sour cream for dipping.</p>

1 cup sugar<br />
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder<br />
1 teaspoon baking soda<br />
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt<br />
6 tablespoons vegetable oil<br />
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract<br />
1 tablespoon white vinegar<br />
1 cup cold water</p>
<p>1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In an 8-inch square baking pan, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and coarse salt.<br />
2. Make a well in center of flour mixture and add vegetable oil, pure vanilla extract, white vinegar, and cold water. Whisk until well combined. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool completely in pan on a wire rack.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Simple Buttercream Frosting</strong></span></span><br />
Makes 2 3/4 cups<br />
2 cups (4 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature<br />
1 pound confectioners&#8217; sugar, sifted<br />
1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br />
1/8 teaspoon salt</p>
<p>1. In a mixer bowl fitted with a paddle attachment, combine butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat on high speed 2 to 3 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl occasionally.</p>

</strong></span><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">1.</span></strong> In a large non-stick skillet over medium-low heat melt butter, add celery and onion. Stir often until vegetables are soft.<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>2.</strong></span> Add mushrooms with <strong><span style="color: #008000;">vegetable mixture</span></strong>, stir often, cook over medium heat when mushrooms are soft, cook until most of liquid is evaporated except for 1/2 cup, and add mixture to large bowl.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">3.</span></strong> Mix currants, thyme, sage,<strong><span style="color: #000000;"> salt, and pepper</span></strong>, toasted bread, and walnuts into bowl with mushroom mixture together slowly.<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>4.</strong></span> Preheat the oven 325 degrees F.<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>5.</strong></span> Spoon the mixture into lightly buttered 4 qt shallow baking dish.<br />
<strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">6.</span></strong> Pour chicken broth over stuffing evenly.<br />
<span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>7.</strong></span> Bake on middle rack oven covered for 30 minutes, bake uncovered for 20 minutes.</p>

2 teaspoons kosher salt<br />
1/2 teaspoon<strong><span style="color: #800000;"> black pepper</span></strong><br />
2 teaspoons dried sage<br />
1 large egg, beaten<br />
2 cups warm chicken broth<br />
1/2 cup whole milk</p>

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.<br />
2. In a large size bowl combine<span style="color: #0000ff;">,<strong> biscuits, corn bread.</strong></span><br />
3. Over low-medium heat using small size skillet melt butter, brown onion, and celery until soft. Pour into <strong><span style="color: #808000;">large bowl </span></strong>with breads mix with fork.<br />
4. Add salt, pepper, <span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: arial black,avant garde;"><span style="color: #808000;">sage</span></span></span>, egg, broth, and milk, mix well.<br />
5. Transfer into shallow baking<strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"> dish/pan</span></strong>, well greased, place on middle rack; back uncovered for 15-20 minutes</p>
