17. Use hand sanitizer on your hands before and after shopping. It might save you a trip to the doctor with the flu

18. Use a wagon or cart to take groceries in it’ll save your back and get you finished sooner.

19. Separate your can goods by category in your cupboard. It’ll save you time when you’re trying to cook in a hurry.I separate my fruits, vegetables, soups and other can goods for easy picking.

20. Check online for coupons and call manufacturers for coupons. Just tell them you love their products and you might get some free coupons.

11. Put a piece of paper on the refrigerator to add items to the list as you use them.

12. Buy a clipboard with a magnet, attach a pen and use it for a grocery list or reminders.

13. Check the cost per ounce to see which item costs less. The stores tend to take away a few ounces from a product and put a cheaper price on it. You think you’re getting a better deal, but you’re actually paying more.

14. Take a calculator with you and add things up as you shop.

15. Check out the sales ads for sales on frequently used items. Buy more and save later.

6. Before you go to the store with coupons put the ones your going to use in the front. You could use a pencil case to store them.

7. Leave your partner and kids at home when you’re shopping. They tend to pick up extra items that you really don’t need.

8. Buy large family sizes of meat and separate it yourself into freezer bags or freezer paper.

9. Buy extras of items on sale if you can afford it, you’ll save money in the long run.

10. Don’t go shopping when your hungry or you’ll spend too much money.

1. Always shop with a list in hand and a calculator.

2. When you find bell peppers on sale buy extra, cut them up and freeze them up to 1 month. Use them in soups, or stews.

3.  Don’t buy extra perishables such as fruits and vegetable because they’ll probably go bad before use them.

4. Buy your local Sunday newspaper and clip the coupons. Let the kids clip the coupons; it’s a great lesson on how much things cost.

5. Store coupons in a notebook with baseball plastic sleeves. File the coupons in alphabetical order or by categories.

6. Before you go to the store with coupons pull out the ones your going to use. You could use a pencil case to store them.
