Sloppy Root Beer Pork Sandwich
1 pound pork roast, trim off excess fat
3/4 can root beer
1 small red onion, peeled and chopped
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 small clove garlic, peeled and sliced, thin
3/4 can BBQ sauce (your choice)
6 potato buns
1. In a 5 quart slow cooker, add trimmed pork roast.
2. Pour root beer into slow cooker over pork roast.
3. Next add sea salt, thin sliced garlic, cover, cook on low until pork shreds easily, about 5-6 hours.
4. Drain well, now add bbq sauce, mix well, serve warm.
Side Suggestions: coleslaw, carrot salad, and dessert
