Creamy Cheese Hashbrowns
1 ( 32-ounce) bag Ore-Ida Peppers and Onions hashbrowns
5 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons sour cream
1 ( 10-ounce) can Cream of chicken soup
1/2 small red onion, ( peeled and diced)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons milk
1 + 1/4 cups cheddar cheese ( shredded)
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Spray cooking spray in a baking dish or pan, medium-large size.
3. In a large bowl combine, hash browns, butter, sour cream, chicken soup, red onion, salt, pepper, milk, and cheddar cheese, stir well.
4. Pour into prepared baking dish, and bake for 40-45 minutes, until brown on top.
