Crockpot Amish Chicken Recipe
4 pieces chicken (skinless or boneless) cut into cooked pieces
2 cups chicken stock
3/4 cup 2 % milk
1 mushrooms (4 ounces), drained
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 (8ounce) package noodles (cook according to direction), drain
1. Put chicken, milk, mushrooms, salt, pepper, and butter In a 5 quart slow cooker. Sprinkle flour and parmesan cheese over chicken mixture.
2. Cover and cook for 8-10 hours on low. Add noodles the last hour. mix and replace cover on crockpot.
Side Suggestions: lettuce salad, mashed potatoes, and dessert.
