Where’s my Kitchen Timer

Tick… Tock… Tick… Tock… What time is it? What happens when you don’t have your kitchen timer with you? You don’t know what time it is anytime of the day. I learned this the hard way when I had to throw my old microwave out. I didn’t have anything to use for a timer while I cooking in the kitchen. Yes, I’ve got a few clocks hanging on the wall, but I need something that’s everywhere I go to keep track of my dishes while they’re in the oven. I should purchase one of the Seiko watches  so I could keep a closer eye on my food so I didn’t burn anything. It’s easier to buy a watch than having to restart a meal from scratch because you’ve forgot about it or you don’t have your trusty microwave that prevented any food from being burnt or dried out from cooking too long. I did finally buy a microwave to replace the one I threw out, actually it’s sitting on my porch until I find somewhere to dispose of it since my garbage man won’t take anymore large items since this year. I think I’ll call the local junk yard to see if they’d be interested in an old microwave.
