Review: Garlic Gold Oil with Recipe- Cod Egg Noodles

On most of my recipes, I add garlic so I was fair game when it came to trying Garlic Gold Oil. It’s an organic extra-virgin olive oil. No you cannot take it to the bank for cash. The olive oil is a beautiful gold color like the name.  I prepared a couple of recipes with the Garlic Gold Oil,  both of them turned out excellent. The olive oil added  extra flavor to my food. The smell of garlic filled my kitchen, which is great. Most people don’t associate egg noodles and spaghetti sauce with fish. But I was down to only one package of meat in the freezer which happened to be a package of cod. So I went out on a long limb (like usual) preparing this recipe, even the non-fish lover went back for seconds on this recipe. I’ll stop yakking so I can share the recipe I created with you.

  1. I’ve eaten a lot of fish, but I’m not sure I’ve ever eaten it with pasta sauce. It sounds interesting. I expect the pasta sauce and garlic completely overwhelmed the taste of the cod, though, wouldn’t it?

      Canadian Doomer,
Hi when I made the recipe the smell of garlic was strong I figured the garlic would overwhelm the fish, I very surprise between pasta sauce and noodles. It tamed the taste of garlic a lot and did not have real fishy flavor, but you can pick up a hint garlic and fish. It was a winner in my family as my daughter hates fish. You can always add more fish, get traditional pasta sauce or make your own.
