Eco Vessel sent me one of their Eco Vessel Insulated Stainless Steel Bottles (17 ounces) in Purple Glow.
A little about the company:

The Eco Vessel Filter:
The exclusive Ionic-Adsorption Microfiltration system eliminates or reduces up to 99.99% of the following: unpleasant taste, odors, cloudiness, silt, sediment, chlorine, harmful bacteriological pathogens, cryptosporidium, giardia, toxic chemicals, arsenic, trihalomethanes, PCB, PCE, pesticides, heavy metals, aluminum, asbestos, cadmium, chromium 6, copper, lead, mercury, radon222. It can filter just about anything except salt water.
On the Eco Vessel Website it states that the hot liquid stays warm for several hours. I poured hot water into the bottle at about 12:45pm; taste tested the warmth of the hot coffee I poured into the bottle about an hour later and it was still as warm then checked the warmth in another hour and it was still warm. In the third hour it was still warm. In the Eco Vessel bottle it has a filter to filter the water you put in it.
I’ve purchased several mugs that state that they will keep hot liquid hot. I honestly have to say this is the first mug that I’ve purchased and it does keep the liquids hot and the liquids cold as it states on the website.

I’d use it at work instead of the disposable cups I use now (in my defense, sometimes I refill them…)
I’d also carry it with me when we go hiking (but not during the winter…)
We grow a vegetable garden in the summer, in the tiny space between the sidewalk and our house. Yay for apartments.
We also recycle a lot.
My favorite casserole is Lentils Mexicanos, one of my mom’s old recipes.
My second favorite casserole is chicken & broccoli.
