A simple recipe that’s easy to make when you are running a marathon to get the kids to after school activities and home before 10. In under a half hour you will have a simple recipe to get supper done on the run.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
4 (1/2 inch thick) center cut pork chops
1 teaspoon Citrus Herb seasoning
1 teaspoon canola oil
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Directions:
1. Sprinkle each chop evenly on both sides with seasoning.
2. In a large non-stick skillet over low to medium heat add oil and allow it to heat up a little.
3. Add chops, and cook 4-5 minutes on each side until lightly brown. Remove and set aside cover to keep warm.
4. Using the same skillet stir in broth, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes until mixture becomes a thin sauce stir often.
5. Remove from heat when serving chops spoon sauce over them.
Tips:
#1: Use instead assorted pork chops can also be used or chicken.
