Ingredients:
Cooking spray or 1 tsp veg oil
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup yellow onion, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup Italian tomatoes, diced
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 teaspoon white sugar
1 (10.5 ounce) cream mushroom soup
1 pound cooked spaghetti
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil and brown ground beef with onion.
2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and sugar; stir well. Stir in mushroom soup. Turn to low and cook for 5-10 minutes.
3. Add drained spaghetti, stir occasionally and add italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, and parsley; mix well.
Sides:-> corn on the cob and ice cream with chocolate syrup and a cherry on top.
Tuesday: Ginger Ground Patties
1 pound ground beef
1 large egg, beaten
2 tablespoon yellow onion, finely diced
2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1 pinch salt and black pepper
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and form into patties and cook.
Side-> baked potatoes and cucumber salad (Make extra potatoes for Thursday.)
Wednesday: Bean and Tomato Salad
1 (15 ounce) can great northern beans rinse and drain
1 tablespoon bacon bits (optional) or 2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 large tomato, chopped
1/2 large green pepper, chopped
2 green onions, chopped (both white and green parts)
2 tablespoons green olives, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1 pinch salt and black pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients and refrigerate for 30 minutes before eating.
Sides-> Garlic bread and your favorite pie.
Thursday: Yes, Breakfast Food
3 baked potatoes (cooked from Tuesday)
4 large eggs, over easy
Pinch ground dill weed
1. In a large skillet cook eggs over easy and set aside. Now add margarine potatoes and sprinkle with dill weed. Brown quickly.
2. Brown bacon and toast bread. (Should feed 2)
Sides-> coffee or tea and applesauce
Friday: Freebie Friday or leftover
Saturday: Chicken and Strawberry Salsa
1 pint strawberries, rinsed and chopped
3 small tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 small bunch green onions, cleaned and diced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 clove garlic, cleaned and chopped finely
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 chicken breasts
1.In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together.
2. Bake or fry chicken then spoon salsa on top of chicken.
Sides-> garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and cake
Sunday: Marinated Chicken Wings
2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon dried minced garlic
1. Marinate 1 hour prior to cooking and cook.
Sides-> stovetop stuffing, cauliflower, broccoli
