There is one way you can get involved in the go green movement by conserving your food. You can only make the food you are going to eat or eat your leftovers instead of throwing them away. Another way you can go green is by having a small garden to grow your own vegetables and fruits. Even if you live in an apartment you can grow your vegetables and fruits in pots. By growing your own food you help the environment because plants give off oxygen which we need to breath. Re using meat is a great way to go green and save some cash. I like to re use left over roasted chicken to make a chicken tortilla soup the next night. The soup freezes well and we dont waste any chicken!
