Lessons in Moving the Kitchen

Moving brings out the worst in most people. If you are moving you are bound to have at least one argument. I have moved more times then I can count and each time is a learning experience. I have learned if you do not label the boxes it will take forever to unpack them. In my experience, the kitchen boxes seem to take the longest time to empty. After I am done moving, usually the first thing I want is something to eat and drink. The time I did not label the boxes it took me over an hour to find a glass. Now I pack a box full of things I will need right away. In the box, I usually pack some disposable paper products and a pot and pan. One time I moved into an apartment and the stove did not work so I was happy I had a box with food I could microwave. In the box I have a couple cans of spaghetti and a few other microwave meals. It is times like this that just about anything sounds good to eat. Cooking is the last thing you want to do after moving. Usually I have moved on my own with a moving truck, but I have found that hiring a moving company helps a lot. It does not take the stress totally away because you have to unpack the boxes, but at least you do not have lift the boxes. If I have to move again I think I will hire a moving truck to reduce my stress level while moving. If I lived in Los Angeles I would check out Moving Company Los Angeles . They are online so I can check out the company before I call them at their toll free number 1-800-431-3920.Moving Companies Los Angeles allows you to apply for an estimate online and gives you a discount for booking your move online. It is the first time I have heard of a moving company offering moving estimates online. It is a win win deal for everyone; just make sure you pack a box with things you will need right away, so you will not be pulling your hair out looking for a glass.
