Grocery Tips, Tricks, and Other Tidbits #1
October 12th, 2009

1. Always shop with a list in hand and a calculator.
2. When you find bell peppers on sale buy extra, cut them up and freeze them up to 1 month. Use them in soups, or stews.
3. Don’t buy extra perishables such as fruits and vegetable because they’ll probably go bad before use them.
4. Buy your local Sunday newspaper and clip the coupons. Let the kids clip the coupons; it’s a great lesson on how much things cost.
5. Store coupons in a notebook with baseball plastic sleeves. File the coupons in alphabetical order or by categories.
6. Before you go to the store with coupons pull out the ones your going to use. You could use a pencil case to store them.

What a great list. With the economy the way it is people can use all of the budget and savings tips that they can. On the coupon tip…there are also coupons online that are available to use for the public.
