Does a Watched Pot Ever Boil?

October 25th, 2009

Most of my Grandmother’s recipes require me standing behind a hot stove for hours waiting for a watched pot to boil. And waiting for a watched pot to boil seems like it takes ten years especially after a long days work. I like to make big batches of chicken and noodles and cabbage rolls for my family which requires me to stand on my feet for hours. After hours of standing up I’m ready to recoup to a comfortable chair in my family room. My feet and back cause me the most pain so I’d love a good massage, but that’s not possible at the crazy hours I decide to cook or bake. So I need to find a good chair with a massage and some heat to soothe my aching muscles. I’d love to get one of the new massage chairs by Human Touch. It’s a good thing I don’t have one of the chairs or I might not make it to the kitchen and I wouldn’t be able to share all the excellent recipes with you. But then again maybe   one of those chairs may be just what I need to motivate me to cook more recipes to share with you.
