Keeping my wood kitchen floors clean isn’t an easy job. I’m constantly fighting to clean the nooks and crannies in the floor. My floors are those original wood floors so there is a slight separation between each slat. I try to deep clean the floors once every six months by removing the varnish, sanding any areas that need sanded and apply a fresh coat of Floor Varnish. I would prefer to work my fingers to the bone cooking a dozen meals than cleaning my kitchen floors. I don’t mind the normal kitchen clean up, but my floors are another story. I have thought about purchasing new kitchen floors, but the rest of my house has the same floors. I really don’t want to take away the flow through appearance of my home.
