Kitchen Tips #13

1. Use club soda instead of water for lighter pancakes or waffles.

2. Prevent soggy sandwiches in lunch boxes or sack lunches by spread any condiment between the meat, cheese, or lettuce instead of directly on the bread.

3. Before you sift flour on wax paper, make a crease down the middle, this creates a handy pouring spout.

4. If you only need a couple of pieces of cake cut from the middle, it will stay fresher longer.

5. Prevent the skin from forming on pudding or custard by placing plastic wrap on the surface before letting it sets up.
