Don’t feel like pulling out the grill? Hope you still like the heat because these wings are not those who do not like a bit of fire in
their life.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes
Refrigerate overnight
Servings: 5-8
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 tablespoons thyme
1 teaspoons salt or to taste
2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoons garlic powder
10 green onions, diced
2-3 pounds chicken wings
Directions:
1. Put honey, vinegar, soy sauce, thyme, salt, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and green onions in a resealable storage bag or large bowl with chicken wings. Mix contents well and refrigerate overnight.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
3. Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease pan.
4. Using tongs pull chicken out of bag and place on baking sheet, pour marinate into saucepan and heat to a boiling; simmer for 10 minutes or until reduced by 50 percent; set aside.
5. Bake on the bottom rack for 15 minutes. Turn and baste with marinate. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until or until juice is clear when a small cut.
Tip: Substitute other parts of chicken or turkey for chicken
wings.

All I can say is that when it comes to chicken wings it’s all about the right blue cheese. I grew up in Buffalo… I live in California… I haven’t found anyone with a blue cheese that comes close after 10 years!
