Fried Chicken the Easy Way

fried-chicken-the-easy-way

I like fried chicken, but it can be a real hassle so making it in the oven is the next best thing.  Its one of those recipes that anyone can easily make without much fuss. You can use any kind of corn flakes and doctor it up if you like. Happy Cooking.

Prep 15- 20 min
Cooking Time: 30-45 min
Serving Size: 4-8

Ingredients
8 chicken breast (boneless skinless) if possible
4 large eggs (beaten)
2 Tablespoons soul seasoning
2 teaspoons salt or to taste
1 tsp sugar or 1 package of  Splenda
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cups cornflakes (any brand)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2.Beat eggs in a bowl you can easily dip the chicken.
3. Place corn flakes in a ziploc bag and use a rolling pin to smash them. Then add the remaining spices to the bag.

4.Place chicken into the eggs in the bowl, then place chicken in the Ziploc bag and shake well. You should do each piece of chicken individually and be sure each piece is well coated.
5.next place coated chicken on baking pan, make sure to cover with foil. Bake 30-45 min depends on thickness of chicken breast.

Lay chicken on a baking pan and cover tightly with foil. Bake in oven for 30-45 minutes. Time will vary depending on thickness of chicken.

Tip: You can use any kind of chicken, just adjust the amount of ingredients and the cooking time.

Hiya, can this be tried with a microwave also? Here in Japan most people don’t have ovens, so we use oven toasters(which just enough to fit 2 slices of bread.lol) or microwaves. Thanks
