1.Use the edge of a teaspoon or tablespoon to peel ginger. This helps to get around the edges.
2.Make Balsamic vinegar with 1 tablespoon cider vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
3. Place wrappers to butter or margarine in a freezer bag and place in freezer instead of throwing them away. Use them when you need to oil a pan for baking or cooking.
4. Use olive oil to remove make up or for dry skin. A little goes a long way.
5. Use a teaspoon or melon baller to easily remove the core of an apple.

About using a spoon to peel ginger: I use a grapefruit spoon, which has a serrated edge. Also works well for coring apples and pears, etc.
Doug at Retired and Restless,
Good idea to use the grapefruit spoon.
