Hey Entrecard Droppers
I am trying to create a Drop list that I can use in Opera because Firefox is a nightmare with the freezing up etc… Please add your link to Mr linky so I can drop on you. Thanks

Firefox works well for me – I open about 10 at a time, and they take a few mins to load, usually, but I’ve not had any freezing. Hope Opera does the trick for you!

I love my firefox and I am not sure if I would actually find time to read the blogs if it wasn’t FOR firefox. I sincerely hope you figure out what is wrong or at least get it to work in opera. I love your blog and try to visit almost daily.
I sometimes have problems in firefox, but I am not sure if it is the browser or a particular site I have clicked on. Thanks for the chance to be on your drop list.

That’s a great idea! I was thinking about doing the same thing so that way I’m going directly to someone’s site instead of through entrecard…might be better for their stats.

I have had similar issues with Firefox before now it seems a bit alright with me after it installed some updates. Hope Opera works a lot better if it does do tell us

I use Firefox and the Entrecard toolbar without problems. Came across this post http://www.junkfoodaholic.com/2009/01/my-entrecard-above-fold-droplist.html and loaded noscript which helps a lot.

Btw, my firefox facing same problem once in a while..but, it just resolved after reboot.
LOL, just a list to use to drop entrecards. Soon it will be above the watermeon header in bright pink.

Thanks for the list! Haven’t heard of the “Opera” system, what is it?
Opera is a browser like internet explorer. Here’s the link Opera Its not perfect, but it gets the job done without pulling your hair out. Just be sure when you right click to open tab click “Open in Background tab” instead of open in new tab. Hope this helps. If you have more questions feel free to ask.

hi! my firefox crashes regulary too! i really wonder why that happens (even when i only have 4 sites open) Will try out the browser you suggested. Thanks!!!
You might want to try Google chrome, iv’e been using it for awhile now and no crashes.
I did try Google chrome in the past, but it had some kind of script errors. I’ve heard some good and some bad, maybe they will get it fixed in the future. Its kind of like buying a new brand car when it first comes out,they still haven’t got the kinks out.

I’ve added my blog to the list.
I’ve also had problems with Firefox loading very slow and/or freezing up. What I do when dropping cards is temporarily disable all the add-ons I have in Firefox (except the Entrecard toolbar) and it works so much smoother! And if you really want to drop cards very fast by opening many tabs in Firefox (without it crashing) you can also uncheck the “Load images automatically” option and use the NoScript extension.
I will have to try turning off the add-ons, but don’t know what to allow for the no scripts to allow entrecard.

Firefox appears to be getting more and more slow loading.

added myself! I love Firefox, but NoScript is a big pain in the tokhes (tush)! Since most bloggers depend on ad widgets, and NoScript apparently considersa them evil, I have to “allow” every blog I visit. It’s two extra annoying clicks, when I could just be commenting, lol! On the other hand, no more pop-ups.
I’ve been using Flock which is based on Firefox. It’s more or less okay.

Sometimes I can breeze thru Firefox…other times, it seems, just as I’m getting to the end of my dropping it KNOWS , and then it freezes…today…so far so good!!

I’ll be interested to hear if Opera works better. The only luck I have with FF is before 7am EST. After that it takes me forever to drop.
