Simple Cabbage Rolls-Pulled

A Reader from:

Demyelinated not Destroyed asked a recipe  question:

I am desperate for a cabbage roll recipe and/or a recipe for corned beef and cabbage. Due to a move half way across the US, my favorite Irish pub is now 1200 miles away.

I don’t make it a lot, but a friend at work says that she freezes the cabbage head then takes it out the night before to defrost and that eliminates the need to boil the leaves. Wonder if that would work in this recipe?
