The Magic Bullet Review

September 8th, 2008

One of my favorite cooking gadgets I use is the magic bullet. I’ve had this gadget for 6 months and I’ve found a lot of great ways to use it. I have used it  to make some great smoothies. I recently made a smoothie with canelope, sugar, banana and soy milk.  I was pleasingly surprised how well it turned out. The bullet even has a juicer function. I’ve only used the juicer a couple of times, but it seems to work well. I’ve had a few instances where the seal actually leaks, if you don’t get it on tight enough. The cups come with colored rings to put on each cup so you don’t get your cup mixed up.  The bullet comes with a lot of parts and it would have been nice if it would have its own holder for easy storage. The bullet is great for baby food for someone who doesn’t want to pay the high price for baby food. It works great if you have an older baby and you want to puree your own food. The bullet can be used to make simple soups, tasty dips and desserts. It even has a function that you can use in the microwave. The bullet is one of those things if you live in a small apartment by yourself because it doesn’t take up much space. So I would say the bullet is a good buy with the exception of the leaky seals.

I love my Magic Bullet! I really do use it all the time. We make lots of smoothies (keep vanilla yogurt and frozen fruit on hand for a great, healthy, filling snack anytime). My favorite use though is the flat blade with the small cup to freshly grind my coffee beans then to warm and whip some milk for an AWESOME latte at home waaaaaay cheaper than buying from those gourmet coffee shops!

Thanks for reviewing the Magic Bullet. Every time I catch a glimpse of the infomercial, I’m tempted to buy it but then I just convince myself that it’s not really as good as it looks. I’ll have to think about getting one.

I have never had a smoothie, but they sound delicious. I love the idea of combining different fruits and blending them together. I will have to take a look at this Magic Bullet. I also wanted to let you know that you have just received a most prestigious award. You can swing by my site to pick it up…the paparazzi are already there and waiting for you.

I have been looking at getting one of these. If it does all of that I’m adding it to my must have list.
