Scalloped Corn Family Recipe

When I was a little girl both of my  Grandmother’s use to make this recipe. They both made the recipe about the same way.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:
12 saltines or Ritz crackers
2 (14 ½ ounce) cans cream corn
2 large eggs
¼ cup milk
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons white sugar
3 teaspoons margarine

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Smash crackers in a resealable bag. In a medium bowl, mix
cream corn, eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and sugar.
3. Stir crackers into corn mixture and pour into baking pan.
4. Drop margarine on top of scalloped corn mixture.
5. Bake for 1 hour on the bottom rack and let stand for 5
minutes.

Tip: Substitute 2 packets of sugar substitute for sugar.
