This is a quick and easy recipe when you are in a time crunch, but you do not want fast food. It is enjoyable for the whole family and easy to double for big families.
Prep: 15 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 package smoked sausage (16ounces)
2 bell peppers chopped bite size pieces
6 potatoes, cut into, bits size pieces (leave skins on)
1 large onion; diced
4 tablespoons margarine
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 garlic powder
1-teaspoon vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Chop up all the ingredients.
2. Heat margarine and oil in a large skillet; potatoes, onions, salt, pepper and, garlic powder. Cook until potatoes are fork tender, maybe 15 minutes, mix occasionally.
3. When potatoes are soft mix in bell peppers, and polish sausage stir well cover and cook additional 10-15 minutes, or until polish, sausage is cooked.
Tip: You can substitute leftover chicken for polish sausage.




















Hi! Thank you for sharing this quick and indeed so easy recipe. I have tried this for breakfast and my husband loved it so much. He would usually grab a bread and sip a coffee before going to work but I’m glad he sat down on the dining area and ate this meal with me! Unfortunately, I don’t have available margarine at home so I used butter instead.
